I have been having real trouble buying products lately. I am trying to find some temperature sensors or dry wall sensors and I cannot find many places that sell them. I wonder whether it is an effect of businesses closing down due to the recession of just a general lack of supply of them. It is quite irritating as I am used to getting them from a particular company and they have unfortunately had to close down and so I need to start looking elsewhere. It is such a shame that small businesses are suffering like this. I know that it is survival of the fittest and everything but some companies provide a lovely personal service or great customer service but everyone seems to be so worried about money, that it is price that is the important factor these days. This means that people would rather by something from abroad if it cheaper and not worry about supporting their own countries economy. This is possibly why the country is in trouble in the first place, well at least one factor anyway. I cannot blame people for wanting to hold onto their money. Those that have lost their jobs or are concerned about the possibility of being laid off are bound to be trying to only buy necessities and saving all the money that they can in case they need to live off it later. I must admit that I am only buying basic things and not splashing out too much either, although I am lucky enough to have a good income into my household. I think this tends to be something that I do anyway so it is not really influenced by the economy. I do not like wasting money on useless things or things which will not last and so I do not bother. I guess it may sound boring to some, but it should mean that I can pay my mortgage off early and then start saving for my retirement.
